How it all began
It all started one cold winter evening in 2024. We were sitting in a warm room, at another one of the DDIs, surrounded by friends, when Danijel asked a little shyly: "Would you like to try the new game I made?". And of course we wanted to, so we tried. Without further ado, the game won us over right away – it was different, challenging and incredibly fun. After a few games, someone said "Well, we should really publish this..." and we realized that we were attracted not only to playing, but also to the very idea of creating a game.
Inspired by what we saw, we started talking about what it would be like to make our own game. We've always been a creative team with lots of ideas, but never seriously considered entering the world of board game design. Daniel's enthusiasm for the game sparked something in us, awakening our curiosity and desire to learn how games are designed and developed.
Soon Andrej became interested in this idea of ours and joined the team. His passion for designing and creating new experiences fit perfectly with what we wanted to achieve. With Andrej in the team, we began to develop the game more and more seriously, analyzing all its elements and looking for a way to make something of our own, something unique.
When Edo heard about our idea, he was more than ready to help. He offered to take over game development and rules writing, which gave us an extra boost. With Ed as the main development engine and the rest of us covering design, logistics and preparation, it felt like we had all the right elements for success.
It was an exciting time – a time full of brainstorming, playing, drafting and planning. We all felt that we were on the verge of something big. And so the final decision was made: let's go into production!
This moment was the beginning of our adventure in the world of board games. We had vision, passion and, most importantly, a strong team. We had a long way to go, but we were ready for all challenges. How we will deal with them and where this adventure will take us, we have yet to see. But one thing is certain - our start was unforgettable.
